Wes Iwasaki

Wes Iwasaki primarily specializes in the study of American literature and music. Oriental languages and literature form another significant area of his interests. Iwasaki lives and teaches in the U.S., but regularly visits Japan, including long stays in the mountains. The most significant among his publications in recent years is a monograph on the role of American folk music in American novels of the 1930s.
