Leningrad State University Faculty of Oriental Studies – graduated 1964. Postgraduate studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Leningrad Division. Thesis “Poetry Yu Xin (501-589).” – Moscow.1978. Employment: Faculty of Oriental Studies, Far Eastern Federal University (1964-1986), State Hermitage, Chinese instructor for Hermitage employees, International School at Herzen Russian State University, Department of Oriental Languages ​​at the University to the present day.
Participant in scholarly conferences and festivals (“Japanese Spring,” “Autumn in St. Petersburg,” for 10 years); public performer of the classical poetry of China and Japan; teacher of master classes and instructor in IKEBANA — the Japanese art of flower arrangement — with professor of Ikebana Mitiko Moriidzumi; enjoys working as a Chinese- and Japanese-language guide in her beloved city, showing its sights; serves as interpreter for negotiations, etc.
